What centers you?
What centers you?
One of my mentors asked me this question a couple of years ago. We were all adjusting to a new normal of constant change in the world.
Centering yourself is the idea of balancing your emotions and practicing mindfulness to stay focused on what's most important.
When you find yourself stuck, you need to find something that will bring you back to the best version of you.
Some people like dancing to their favorite songs between meetings, going for a quick run, reading a book, or baking something delicious.
I love doing outdoor activities. That centers me and reminds me of the beauty of life.
Ask yourself, “What centers me?” and try to make that a part of your daily routine. Take intentional steps to figure out what that looks like for you.
The other day I went for a walk to enjoy the clear sky after many days of rain in San Francisco. It was awesome!
